The Journey Continues

It came to my surprise that, for more than 2 years I have not update my blog here about my MBA journey, there were some visitors based on the stats. I am not sure if they are just the google robots or are real people. But I will still continue writing something on this blog. 

As I might be graduating soon with the MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School, my learning does not ends here. I will try to write up more on my learning and reflection be it in business, entrepreneurship, startup as well as relationship.

For about 3 years I embarked on the MBA program (it was supposed to be ended in 2 years but due to many reasons it was dragged), the journey was extremely tiring, challenging, emotionally-disturbing but with fun, awe-inspiring, motivating, great learning experience gained. The 3 years of silence here also means that I might not be a good blogger as I find blogging requires tremendous amount of dedication, discipline and courage. Again, I hope to write up more in future. 

The next big thing that I embark on will be on the entrepreneurial exploration. It will be another extremely tough, challenging, unknown experience for me. I will be spending endless hours to plan, build and execute my first tech startup and hopefully to note down all exciting and interesting encounters over here. So stay tune!

I went to have a bubbled milk tea after lunch yesterday. I had an opportunity talking to a small mom-and-pop bubble tea shop owner and the conversation was very interesting. She owned a local Singapore bubble tea shop in the HDB heartland and has been running it for over 10 years at the same location. Over the time, her business affected a lot due to some reasons. One of them is the newly operated MRT station. She claimed that she used to see many students from a nearby secondary school patronize her premise last time, but once a new MRT station operated with new popular franchise bubble tea kiosk open there, she hardly sees students from that same school anymore. Posting about MBA

It's been a while since started the MBA program. I always wanted to blog it some where until now. A week after completed the last first semester exam. The first sem was a long, tough and frustrating studies but ended with encountering lots of unique experiences through getting to meet with many different types of people from managers to even a high profile ambassador.  First semester modules consist of Exploring International Business Environment, Marketing Management, Financial Management Accounting and Finance Financial Management.  The Exploring International Business Environment was the toughest assignment-only module where there's no need to sit for exam and the whole 100% marks will be based on the group assignment.
